Fixed Flyscreens for Windows
An affordable, no-fuss solution for standard windows. Frames are available in 9mm or 11mm and powder-coated to match your existing window frames. Two mesh options: fibreglass for standard use, or fire mesh (BAL-40 rated stainless steel) for bushfire prone areas. Custom-made to fit any shape or size opening.

Retractable Fly Screens for Windows and Doors
All the insect protection of a fixed flyscreen, but when you don’t need it, it disappears. Wynstan’s retractable fly screens use a slimline tracking system that retracts neatly into the side or top of the frame, making them virtually invisible when not in use. Suitable for sliding, bi-fold, casement, double hung, louvre, gas strut, awning and stacking window and door types.
Roll-away (side retract): Most versatile. Plain or pleated mesh. Pleated option stops at any point along the track and has an 8mm bottom rail to reduce trip hazard. Max size 3,500 × 2,750mm.
Roll-up (top retract): Retracts vertically. A clean option where a side cassette isn’t practical. Max size 1,800 × 2,200mm.

Screen Doors & Safety Doors
Custom screen doors for entry points — keeping insects out while allowing airflow, with an added layer of home safety. Available hinged or sliding in three styles: BEV (classic diamond grille), M11 (with optional midrail), and Casting (decorative aluminium cast designs). Australian made.
Mesh options include fibreglass, stainless steel 304 (BAL-40 rated), fire mesh (316 grade), DVA (privacy), and paw proof (pet owners). Doggy doors available in small, medium and large.

Common questions
What’s the difference between a flyscreen and a screen door? A flyscreen fits over a window; a screen door fits in a doorway and can be opened and closed. Wynstan offers both, plus retractable versions that work on windows and doors.
Can you get fly screens for sliding doors? Yes, the retractable roll-away style is ideal for sliding and bi-fold doors. It retracts to the side when the door is fully open and accommodates widths up to 3,500mm.
Do fly screens block airflow? No. The mesh keeps insects out while allowing fresh air to pass through freely.
What mesh is right for a bushfire prone area? Fire mesh, available on both fixed flyscreens and screen doors, rated to BAL-40 of the Australian Bushfire Standard.
